I haven’t had time to do a lot of reading lately, but last week I checked out a bunch of books and got to read a few of them over the weekend. Ah, bliss…
Here is my quick take on what I read over the weekend:
The Sky is Everywhere – A (sad and sweet at the same time)
Boys, Bears and a Serious Pair of Hiking Boots – B (fun, if somewhat predictable)
Vintage Veronica – B+ (love Veronica)
Next up on my “to read” list…Fortunes of Indigo Skye by Deb Caletti and – la la la la la la – the new book by Lauren Oliver (of Before I Fall fame) that comes out next February. I was lucky enough to snag a review copy. I know, I know, wouldn’t you just love my job?
I’m also listening to the Stieg Larsson trilogy, and – have to say – I love these books and the narrator (Simon Vance) even though they aren’t what I normally read. Next up on audio – The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart or Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins, whatever comes in first.
So. That’s what I’ve got going on…
What’s on your “to read” list –or — is it all school stuff, all the time?
